The great morass that is the film industry has, like the proverbial snake, started at its tail and finally eaten itself.
There will be no more movies, hence no more MQOTD.

Hi everyone, I need your advices concerning the code of a website specialised in computer science and SEO. Would you mind to optimise and improve that ?

Hire someone who knows what they are doing, and pay through the nose to get them.

Some may give you advice. But if you want some ask in the QA[^] or use one of the Web Development forums (available through the navigation to the left) for a discussion.
I might add that you should refine your question a bit so that others that yourself can understand what you're exactly looking for, because we can't read your mind. And nobody is going to optimize or improve your code for you (at least not for free).

I thought after I posted that it probably wasn't suitable for the lounge, plus the young(I assume) lady might have thought it offensive (which it wasn't intended to be)

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Can you not use the best (optimum) site (as obtained from SEO - Search Engine Optimization) to help you get your advice?
Or, did the SEO result lead you to CodeProject Lounge?

That's easy: just call every variable _42 and you'll find it will fly.

Quote: it's exactly what it says: the changes you're trying to cherry-pick are already wholly contained in the branch you're on. I.e. the result of the cherry-pick is no changes. You can create an empty commit with the --allow-empty flag to indicate that you attempted to cherry-pick, but there were no changes to pull in.

Stop going to stackoverflow, and go to CP, instead.

Yeah I remember, sitting at a desk poring over an manual and trying to relate some tech writers ideas to my requirement. Then the phone call to tech support, please reinstall the application and try again AAaahhhhh pfft.
I'll never forget one bug that was fixed by deleting the method and retyping it, some hidden character had crept into the code and screwed the compiler.
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity
