And you have Margaret Cho, Tim Allen, Lisa Lampanelli, and Dane Cook...
...and a TV industry that takes a funny UK show, leeches all the humour out, sets it in the US and wonders why it doesn't work!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Contrary to popular belief, nobody owes you anything.

Mind you, you also have Reginald D. Hunter so it's not all bad.
Except he's over here...

Rumors of Wars[^]
A faith-based movie about what could happen when the gov't stages terrorist attacks to take control of the population, forcing them to get RFID implants. A cheezy low-budget movie, but I can't help think it's somewhat prophetic, at least, the gov't eventually forcing everyone to get these implants in order to obtain food stamps, medical care, jobs, etc. Obama-care is just the beginning. Yeah, I know, I should take it to the soapbox.

wouldn't happen, not saying the government wouldn't try and RFID everyone just that the project would overrun by 10 years, not work and would be eventually cancelled at huge cost
nice little earner for the company that got the contract though (strokes chin and wanders off looking thoughtful)

I have a cryptographically secure phone.
It's the original motorola razr flip phone.
The battery only holds a charge for 2 minutes and even when it's on it gets no reception.
Try tracking me on that.

People who complain about such amazing, wonderful things seem to us to be lacking in intelligence.

You tell 'im. That's why the gov't will replace his head with a robotic one that "thinks the right thoughts!"
Now, 'at 'ight there is funny. I don't care who you is.

How is the British National Health Service the same thing as mandatory insurance coverage (Obama Care)? The mandatory insurance coverage does not even guarantee medical treatment, and many cannot afford it, never mind the premiums. Not everyone is subsidized.
Saying someone lacks in intelligence for complaining about a system that has adversely affected as many people as it helps is very mean spirited. Silencing the opposition is the thing of dictatorships, not democracy.

Were you under the impression that the National Health Service is free?
It costs a lot of money, which is paid through an ad hoc tax (called National Insurance payments) and from other taxation.
It is by no means cheap, but everyone contributes, so that our fellow Britons can receive the same health care that we would wish to receive if we were to fall ill.
It. Costs. Money.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone put the arguments that I've heard coming from America (e.g. your "a system that has adversely affected as many people as it helps").
Perhaps that is because we value the wellbeing of our compatriots and our children more than we value money.
And yes, we think that getting those value priorities wrong is both unintelligent and uncivilised.
