Well, its safe to say they are not THAT positive.

No, they're being rational about it. Comes natural to those integers, I guess.
So, negative is not always depressing. Simply imagine a negative fine, that would be fine, wouldn't it? Or would you be rather the depressing kind that calls that a negative?

Is it a thought or a question?
Life is a computer program and everyone is the programmer of his own life.

Are you saying you never thought of a question?
Or that you don't ask your self questions? Not even "what happens if I do this?" type questions?

I normally manage to skirt "what happens if I do that" questions quite instinctively, by engaging in a "lets see what happens when I do this" narrative; a kind of internal commentary.

Normally followed by "oops..." in my case.
Remember one where there was a problem with "valve bounce" causing bad ink dots, and I had the brilliant idea of slamming the solenoid valve open, then reversing the voltage to "soft close" it. And blew the control ICs to shrapnel with the back EMF the first time I tried it...
Still, of the hardware is still working, you're not on the "bleeding edge" of the technology!

Backup, we need a day for this? Wouldn't that clog the cloud and cause it to rain bits and bytes?

I don't associate the terms "back-up" and "cloud".
I feel it's wisest not to.

Here's something that's 'about time' imo and a link to open source code as well
"The robot-loving boffins want supercomputers that can analyse billions of lines of hitherto unseen code, find its mostly deeply hidden security flaws, and fix them without their creators having to so much as mop their AI's sweatless brows.
We're a long way from that point right now.
On the other hand, if we weren't, then DARPA wouldn't be getting its hands dirty - because that's what DARPA does, trying to close the gap between where we are and where we need to go.
DARPA's plan to speed up this particular journey is called the Cyber Grand Challenge[^] - a series of competition events that started last year and will culminate in the world's first all-computer Capture The Flag[^] contest in 2016."
