Tell me about it. My income for the 1st quarter of this year goes to 2014 taxes (yes, my fault, because I had a rocky 2014 and wasn't able to pay my quarterly taxes, thankfully 2015 has started with a bang) and then I have to catch up on my quarterly taxes for 2015. Basically, I'm working 1/3 of the year to pay my taxes, and for what? The worlds worst medical care (even compared to some third world countries), a corrupt government, a broken political system, an entitlement system that makes it so you're better off not going to work (and yes, that comes from the personal experience of a friend of mine that, while she definitely deserves to be on medicare, the stories she can tell you about how f***ed up the system is is beyond belief) and military policy that makes things worse, not better.

But we're being told things are better than ever and the middle class is better off. They wouldn't lie to use would they? 
Speaking of healthcare go into a VA Hospital some time, that is any one except the one in MD where the politicians go for their care. It is state of the art the rest still use leeches and blood letting as a primary course of care.

I could tell you experiences I've had that would turn your stomach. The VA system has been broke for so long that I'm not sure it could ever be fixed.

I'll tell one story that effected me more than any other.
In the mid to late 70s I was in VA hospital and I met this young guy from Army and he had fallen off the Berlin wall and had to have 1/2 his spine replaced with a plastic something or other, we never got into details. We were both confined to bed. The nurses would come in every hour and give him interventionist antibiotics, every time he had a treatment he would cry because he knew the treatments they weren't pleasent, that they would continue and also knew his time was limited and he would not survive. I got to be friends with him and when the nurses weren't looking I would sneak him out into the court yard for a "smoke" which he really enjoyed and said it made the treatments somewhat bearable. Every time on the way back in this one male nurse would catch us and read us the riot act, but we kept doing it anyway.
When I got out I went to visit him a couple of times for a "treatment" but they moved him to another hospital after a while and I lot track of him.

I doubt it he was down to about 95lbs when I last saw him.
It is a shame he was a bright kid with his whole life ahead of him and then to have it all gone in a blink of an eye. Taught me to enjoy what I have while I have it!

well, group coding is awesome. If we are two friends and coding on same topics. We can help each other and we can move rapidly. Thats why codebuddy can help us in learning coding.

I dont think this is a mentoring. Its more like two friends sitting together and coding same projects. If one get stuck, other help him out. If both get stuck than post on codeproject.
It will also help in motivation department.

I've never been a big fan of this approach because it's a very rare person who improves when they work just with people of the same level. There's no experience passed on. No one tells you that there are better ways to do it.
