I just observed for the second time that a message that I modified much later didn't get marked with "[modified]" in the subject line and the message also doesn't show the "modified ... hr ago." remark. But it seems to happen just randomly.
If it helps, it was this message this time (I added the "[modified]" manually in a third edit):

Not sure who's the one who's misunderstanding what here  However, the other time I observed it there was no "modified" anywhere, so it doesn't seem to be related to that.

I am using the discussion method because I could not find a link to the Code Project Administrator.
I have chosen, review and save the settings in my user profile for the following:
