My friend turned me on to Udemy.
Looked at their website. // Liked it.
They have ten thousand courses.
I know the one I want to take now, but have no clue about the one I want to take after I finish the first.
I would like to sign up for a dozen (or more) courses at the current sale price, but don't know the 2nd, 3rd, 4th...Nth course I want.
Tried asking their tech support; can't get an answer for 2 days that way.
Looked for a phone number; best I could find was a number that was answered by some google software (no clue what's going on with that).
Can tell me what I need to do to physically speak with a living human at Udemy ?

I never looked at online courses because it's just not my cup of tea. Just had a quick look at some random C# course there and they charge €75? Holy moly. That's 2-3 printed books. Is it really worth it (if you like learning that way in the first place) ?

You missed the links that I have here.
The courses are on sale for $15 until tonight.
Oh well, this will be a good way to test the waters.
Friend just told me that this isn't their first sale.
Okay, I'll be a $15 guinea pig and try one course.

Okay, that's another deal then. Good luck

Last week my parents' cat, Cid, got into an accident (we don't know what) and his nerves controlling his bladder and anus have been damaged.
I won't go into details, but that can lead to a rather horrible dead (of course we'd have the vet end it before that happens).
He was on a catheter for a few days to keep that from happening, but it went off yesterday and things are looking pretty good!
Seems like he's going to make it although he's still in a bit of pain. Poor thing is only a year old!
With Cid being well again there's nothing that can stop this weekend from being awesome!
Hope you all have a great weekend too!

Ow! Poor little bugger!
Hopefully, it's just an inflammation "squashing" the nerves as they exit the spinal column, and not anything permanent.
Get well soon, little one! :tuna: :tuna: :tuna:

If the vet had her way he'd be pushing up daisies by now as "the chances of nerves healing themselves are very small"
Unbelievable...

If the spinal cord itself is damaged then I'm afraid he is right: it doesn't heal well at all.
But...if it's squashed rather than crushed it can recover.
There is a UK Channel 4 series called "Supervet" where he has fixed a couple of dogs and cats with crushed or exploded vertebra and saved the spinal cord. It's probably not available outside the UK (Channel 4 is funny like that) and obviously a Google search won't find it, so don't even bother looking on YouTube[^] as everything there is probably technically pirated anyway.
It's worth a watch if you can get it where you are.

I once saw a TV show with a vet chiropractor working on a horse. The poor animal was standing lopsided and couldn't walk without wincing in pain. The vet (and a helper) did a lift here and a twist there with sometimes audible results. After 15 minutes of therapy the horse was standing proud and galloping in joy.
Amazing.
