And I'm not arguing with you there. The property market development is not sustainable in the long run if you ask me. Problem is that nobody seems to care, and nobody (myself included) seems to have a solution for it. Löfven is not going to be any help. He can't come up with any solutions to problems more advanced than when and where he should go to the toilet...

I would NOT go for a simple bowl - first of all, the fish won't have very much space to move around, secondly, It won't have a very nice life. Think about yourself being locked in an appartment without furniture etc...
I would go for a normal aquarium with a little sand/pebbles, some plants, an "oxygen thingy"  (very important)... Not TOO big when you're a novice in the field, and not too many fish.
Don't overpopulate it, there are rules for the approximate amount of fish you can have in the aquarium, but that depends on the aquarium size and type of fish...
Get yourself a Loricariidae[^] to keep the inside clean of algae (or some snails).
Oh, and very important: Don't overfeed them!

Please tell to my daughter, She thinks when she is hungry, pets are hungry too. She has the habit of overwatering the plants in her room. Found out that whenever she drinks water, she gives some to her plants too..

Yes, a nice miniature coral reef with highly specialized plants and animals which require very specific environmental conditions.
Or we could go for a less demanding scenario like 'garden pond with goldfish' in which a thousand things like water quality and temperature and other small details are not quite so important. This probably will also be directly related to the amount of time, money and work you will have to invest.

Make sure you have a good supplier, the expected lifespan of small fish is quite short.
Also, buy an automatic feeder, they tend to prolong their life.

That I have taken care. Near our house, we have a big fish pet store and I have identified few species which are abundant. So If some tragedy happens, I can replace them with out my kid knowing. Spare her the trauma.

Whatever pet you have - even "only a fish" - you have to take care of them, so forget about "hassle free". From what you are writing, I do not sense much will of actually caring about a pet, so this worries me a little.
About the fishes, go in a shop and ask them : a real setup includes a big enough aquarium, a pump, an adequate lighting, etc... this is far from being trivial - provided you care a bit about the well-being of the fishes.

I want to take care of pet fish with minimum amount of efforts.
I cannot take care of daily changing of water etc.

My point was that such a setup indeed does not exist. Look at the answers below, they will confirm that running an aquarium properly (and not a fish slaughtering machine) does require a lot of time and involvement.

In case any option about selling, throwing away, sending her somewhere, finding a boyfriend... is not working, then I think plastic fish are the best for you...

I have few plastic ducks and fish which I need to clean up after her bath time. So its not very hassle free too lol

As others have said, don't goldfish bowl. This might be useful[^]
When you set the tank up, let the water stand for a couple of days - or you'll need to use water conditioner (especially if your water is chlorinated/fluoridated).
I'd go for neon tetras or cardinal tetras - they are cheap, easy to keep and very colourful, they also shoal so you can get a few. You might get away with something like Canadian Pondweed or other plants in place of an electric pump - the shop should be able to guide you, whataver, you'll need something to replace the oxygen. You might also need to head the tank.

Also, avoid marine setups like the plague - they take insane amounts of care to keep the water balance right.

Most fish only live for a few hours so get cheap ones.
Home aquariums look wonderful when they work, in reality they are a massive pain to keep everything carefully balanced, keep changing the water, keep it all clean, don't overfeed, don't over populate, don't get fish that eat each other, don't let too much light in otherwise it'll soon be completely full of algae and you won't see through the glass.
