There's something odd happening here, he's been fairly active lately and seems like a decent fella.

Yeah, he has written good articles and contributed civilly and intelligently in the forums here. That said, I can't imagine Griff being too trigger-happy, which is why I asked him. There were 2 others too who reported him.

That's why I think it's odd.
I've posted a question in sugs&bugs about it. It might be quicker than mail as it's checked by more people.

I don't remember him from Saturday, and he doesn't appear to be in the S&A forum list either.
It's possible he posted a message on Sat which was picked up by the autodetection system and killed via that? But even then I do check them and look for actual spam (and I'd expect Richard does as well).
It's also possible his account has been compromised...

Thanks.
I think his account needs to be reinstated.

Isn't that a sign your account has been compromised?

If the account has been compromised by a spammer, then it gets shut. The original owner can ask for it back, and change his password...it's possible that has happened here, I dunno.

His spelling sucks... Look how he spelled Favorite!!
If it's not broken, fix it until it is

As an English expatriate, I speak English, and understand American.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

The first 3 days or so after Codeproject moved to a new hosting center the response times were considerably shorter than before for me. Now the hamsters seem to have slowed down again. Do you have the same experience?

Well, you can lead a hamster to the wheel, but you cannot make him run...

Yes - it's all noticeably slower, and it's unusual for me to spot that type of thing.
