This idea may have been discussed previously. There are questions that are asked over and again. I'll pick this one because it was recent doubt in address of array? difference between usage of arr and &arr[^]. They often get very comprehensive answers. These could form the basis of a peer reviewed database where questions are added because they are common and maybe a couple of high rated answers are allowed to form the solution - or another agreed method.

I agree. Also the never ending "Object not set to instance" questions that get copy/pasted answers over and over.
You can lead a developer to CodeProject, but you can't make them think.

Hi Guys
At the end of each forum message is a 'pin' button which turns orange when it is clicked.
However, if I refresh the page in Chrome the 'pin' reverts to 'unpinned'.
How is this meant to work, or has this already been answered elsewhere?

The point of such a pin is that you can open multiple messages at the same time. Normally, when you open a message on the forum when there's already one open, the previous one gets closed. To prevent this, you can put a pin on the first message so it doesn't close when you open the second one. That's how it's meant to work.
The quick brown ProgramFOX jumps right over the Lazy<Dog>.

maybe the tooltip can be modified to explain that this pin does not pin to the top of the forum and does not have an influence to other users? Pining a software-window on the personal desktop is one common usage of pining, pining it to the top of a forum another. This is why a more descriptive tooltip could help ...

In the discussions forum there is no tab or category for Windows 10 (or Universal Application Platform) development. There is a Windows 8 or WinRT forum, and a Visual Studio 2015 forum also. But they both don't fit for Windows 10 application development.
For example, this question of mine... http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/5082878/Windows-Runtime-applications-Updating-title.aspx[^] did not get the accurate answer (however the answer by Pete was correct) because Pete thought I was talking about Windows Runtime, where as Windows 10 has different programming approaches.
So, I thought this forum should be added, as Windows 10 is coming in hot, and most of the beginners would need to know how to develop applications for Windows 10, separate forum would be helpful.

Me French, answer and reply mean about the same for me, simply I use answer more often.

Hello!
Today I've been tidying up a little my CP account... well, just deleting the pending notifications.
I've tried to press on clear all several times but it has not been possible...
After some tests I've tried to select all of them and then press "clear all selected" and this has worked...
My computer runs Win 7 Pro x64 and I'm using IE11.

This is an issue for me as well. It seems that this is a new issue, because I was able to do this last week, I believe.

Oops!, We had a overly enthusiastic hamster in the Notification code. We've snuck some little pink pills into his kibble, and he has promised to only operate on the records that need work.
As a result, you should be able to clear ALL notifications.
As an added bonus, the display of notifications should be much faster.
