What has changed (major changes) between VS2012 and VS2015 which will force anyone to move to it? I am not talking about release notes but from a regular user point of view.

I was looking forward to the support for C++11 in the C++ compiler. Given that it is developed by a different team, I hope that it's better than the C#/WPF stuff.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

From my point of view, the integrated XAML debugging was something that was badly missing in earlier VS editions - I raised the original Connect request for this as a vNext feature back in 2008. Given how horrible and slow the 2015 experience is, I will continue to wait to use this feature.

You know - WPF is dead! So why support it?!

Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

The Fix: buy the next ridiculously priced machine with the new super duper CPU and (also new super duper) bus which requires unobtainable memory.

You aren't by chance using Resharper are you? I had a similar experience once I turned off Resharper all was fine. I think the latest version of Resharper has eliminated the issues.

Question #1: What did I do to cause these business cards to stick to the glass of this scanner ?
I want to learn that answer first, so that this is an event, and not the first iteration of a process.
Question #2: How do I remove the part of the business card that tore off when I tried to remove it ?
(My thanks to all who advised me on THIS[^] topic earlier)

Very sharp new stanley knife blade (hobby knife) and shave the debris off the glass, you wont scratch it that way....
or just use some good glass cleaner and keep rubbing!

One possible reason to a business card to stick on the glass it the material used to coat the card...If the card (the paper actually) is a bit old and/or your scanner creates too much heat it can be sticked easily (it happens most with old pictures)...
A way to remove it is to wet is with care and wait the material to absorb the water - that should happen in 3-5 minutes...after that you should able to remove it easily...
If the pack of business cards you want to scans are of the same origin and/or old you may better take a picture of them (from fixed camera with fixed plate to put the cards on) using a hi quality digital camera...It will give you the exact same result as scanning...

I used the "Awesome Orange" cleaner diluted for my normal kitchen cleanup.
Thank you !!!
Just for my own peace of mind, I'm leaving the top up and will let it dry over night.

Rumor has it that Barry Manilow has signed on to play the role of Ozzy Osbourne in the upcoming movie about Black Sabbath.
Being a fan of method acting, Manilow wants to eat a bat on screen -- albeit preferably while avoiding the possible ill effects (rabies, lawsuits from PETA, etc.).
So the question is: Should Bubblegum Boy go the Westley/"Farmboy" route (regarding Iocaine powder, as depicted in the revered period piece "The Princess Bride") and gradually increase his intake of batflesh to build up a tolerance to it, or should he just go with a rubber chicken and call it good?

I say he should consume a box of thumb tacks, then eat the bat.

No, if he's going the method route, you wouldn't get a genuine reaction on film for "accidentally" figuring out what it tastes like. So, it should be saved for film.
