I don't have a problem, provided they come over as good articles - but you've been here more than long enough to know which are and which aren't, and which are still relevant.

1. Where are the computers?

Well - we've been to their sister resort, Couples Tower Isle - and they promote themselves on the clothing-optional Island they own (w/bar, food brought for meals, etc.).
Actually - as I heard it from reliable sources - it was clothing optional until they heard I had made reservations. Not enough Gange on the entire island of Jamaica to 'cover that up'.

So, I installed Windows 10 yesterday on the personal system of SWMBO. After she had been using it for a while I asked her, "so what do you think of Windows 10?". She replied with, "Oh, I don't know whether I want it on here, I'll let you try it out first". I'd call that a big success from Microsoft.

1. If she came from & and didn't realized the changes
2. If she camo from 8.x and didn't realized the changes/improvements
In any case you bothered yourself for no reason - she could have stay with XP all the same...

She came from 8.1 and didn't notice the change. Which, to be honest, is quite subtle.

How do the Win10 upgrades present themselves? I have the Get Windows 10 icon, but I don't know whether the Windows Upgrade arrives via the Icon or Windows update.

You need to install the "Upgrade for Windows xx" system. Where xx is the version of your system. Install them all from Important updates section.
Then you will see Upgrade to Windows 10.

I just realized that all this 'kibi', 'mebi', 'gibi' thing is more than 15 years old!!!
What is fascinating me is that IEC missed one tiny (but important) aspect of the subject...
'kilobyte', 'megabyte' and 'gigabyte' are measure units that has no meaning whatsoever(!) outside the word of computer industry/storage capacity...And inside that context it is! consistence (it is not consistence if we separate kilo/mega/giga from byte and put there something like gramm)...
So IEC decided to 'clear the air' with some dust ...
(I like to see that there are people out there that have the time for it - more like to see that this b*s didn't got into any stream...)
