Even if you ignored the date, there's stuff in the article itself that screams hideously out of date if whoever included it in the insider bothered to read the whole thing first.

Kent has wisely taken some time off over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so we, in the office, are looking panicked and wild eyed at one another wondering what we'll do.
We thought of bribing someone who was actually funny to ghost write. We thought of hiding in a bunker until he returned. We even thought of actually poring over the news items and picking out interesting, relevant, on-topic news.
