Needs some work! At Changi they have the thumb print scanner, works for me, the dammed things can't read the wife's thumb print 80% of the time and she needs to get a human to beat on the machine!

PIN and password are tokens that are more versatile than a fingerprint. I could give access to anyone by sharing a key - I don't like the idea of sharing fingers.

I don't think passwords will go away. Facial/Iris/Fingerprinting will be used as part of a two-factor security system: something you have (Face/Eyes/Fingers) and something you know (Password).

The anonymous poster makes some good points.
At least one "Politically Correct" group appears to have set itself up as vigilantes, and have asserted the right to run down and punish anyone, anywhere, without benefit of trial, to say nothing of defence. They also appear to apply their code of conduct in a biased manner - members of "privileged" groups (whatever that means) can do no right, while members of "unprivileged" groups can do no wrong.
IMAO, the "cure" is much worse than the disease.
Yes, there are some assholes out there, but the proper solution is to filter out any messages from them; let them spew their venom into the bit bucket.

A C# version would have the same core performance issue that the Java one does. Generation 0 garbage collection of non-trivial applications isn't compatible with a stable framerate.

I read a fantastic book about this:
Rise of the Robots: Technology and the Threat of a Jobless Future, Martin Ford, eBook - Amazon.com[^]
written by someone with vast experience in the field:
"Martin Ford is the founder of a Silicon Valley-based software development firm. He has over 25 years experience in the fields of computer design and software development."
It details how cheap robots which can do vast work are becoming.
Even companies like Kroger Grocery have robots which load pallets with product and load pallets on trucks.
Has anyone else read this great book?
It's quite balanced and very readable.

As I see the main problem is about the value of those jobs...The humans doing those jobs creating value and for that getting paid...for sure the robots will create the same value (otherwise no one would use them) but those lost their job will get nothing of that value...As no payment made no taxation in place...
So by 2020 we will have a few millions more to take care of, but no income to do so...A Brave New World?
