But...it would have located the B.AC./.... on the next ("BDACDDDDD" - 3B) so I'd have jumped to "L" as there aren't many letters than can fit in position 2: "BLACLLLLL" and that's 5B. BLAC. implies BLACK so it wouldn't have taken much more and it's brute forced!
