Not only that. The show was on a low budget and they borrowed scenes from all movies they could get their hands on. I remember that they had an episode with pirates and the scenes where they needed the pirate's ship very clearly were from different other movies, of different quality and different ships. Kids don't mind such things.

We don't get them in NZ so when we went to UK a number of years ago, it was one of the thing on my list to see. My nephew (born in Wales) thought we were mad wanting to see squirrels, but took us to a park in Plymouth were he lived just to feed the squirrels some nuts.

No contest. My first dog, a Jack Russell that outdid the Krays in crime and could make the whole of Soho blush, used to organise 'ram raids' on the butchers in town.
According to the police report for one offence, two dogs entered the butchers and started fighting in the middle of the floor. While the staff tried to stop them [qv kick the buggers out] the third dog ran in and grabbed a joint of meat [sorry, I don't know which]. As he left the other two immediately stopped and followed as they all made their escape.
They were also responsible for stealing shoes from outside shoe shops and general mayhem whenever they went. As fo Ginger, he was an unrepentant romantic and/or rapist who felt it his duty to pay his respect on all the lady dogs in the area.
In unrelated news, we were once offered an Alsatian / Jack Cross.
