Yeah - I think I've shaved about three times since I became an adult, and one of them was for charity!
I started growing one basically because I was too lazy to get up early enough to be sufficiently awake to shave, and just never looked back (even though I wake with the sun these days).

I shaved only once - for a wedding of a friend remembered me before the beard...
As today I cut it short once in two months (and it is only because of the wife)...

Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

I try to remember to do mine once every two weeks. I originally used barber's scissors but found I get the same result with rechargable clippers and couple of length guides in half the time.

When I shave, I do so in the evening. My wife seems to appreciate it. :wink wink nudge nudge:

I wanted to have a nice looking beard, but I can't grow a beard, unfortunately.

LMAO! I don't know if this one is real or not. All I know is it's funny.

Yes, although it's more of a layer of scruff on my face than an actual beard.

That's a satirical site. It's a joke. Everyone knows food gets caught in beards and there is no way that is healthy for you.

Crumbs? A decent beard can hold a Chinese banquet for six!

I had a full beard for around 30 years then I shaved my chin so I have side burns that join my mustache. Unfortunately, it grows slow, I have know guys who's five o'clock shadow is heavier than a week of my growth.

At the moment, I look rather like Grizzly Adams[^] which IIRC, was a nickname of mine around here many moons ago.

While you are at it, you should limit use of soap and disinfectants. Apparently they do remove the bacteria for a short time, but then the bacteria population explodes. There is bacteria and oils on the skin that fight harmful bacteria (and non-harmful) and all that happens with soap and disinfectants is that you remove this oil and the good bacteria.

Plus, after a short while people don't want to be too close to you, so you limit your exposure to more bacteria colonies!

No. Unable. Just some nasty scruffiness. But at least I can get away with shaving only once a week.

Had a beard since I was 16. Minus the four years in the Air Force that makes a total of 38 years with one.

Rondò Veneziano - Venezia 2000[^]
The SOTW is a little different today. The album Venezia 2000 is basically two songs (yes, I know not technically a song) divided over 15 tracks. It's the first song (or 8 tracks) that are this weeks' SOTW
Rondò Veneziano (a group, not an individual) sounds like classical meets pop music. Very catchy tunes with bass and drums.
I guess it's still more classical than pop music (there isn't any singing, for instance), but it's way more easy listening than most classical music.
Anyway, I've got good memories of this album and I've been listening to it again last week. Enjoy
