The point here is that you've come to us with some serious accusations and are asking us to take action. "Annoying someone one the internet" is not something I would consider a misdemeanour.

If you have a specific instance where our action is required then we'll certainly take a look.

If you guys are simply continuing a spat that seems to have boiled over and out of the Soapbox then my advice is

1. Don't go into the Soapbox, or
2. Ignore him.

I've spent some time reading the history of these interactions and Chris and I have been discussing possible solutions.

These kinds of responses do not foster community, but hurt it as they encourage members to respond similarly. Due to the many warnings I've given you about your behaviour in the past (and going back and reading your older forum entries) I think it best to de-activate your account permanently.

Ignore it. Do what I did: add a rule to your email system that automatically discards (or at least treats as spam) anything from him. I have a "brute force and ignorance" outlook / live mail rule:

If message body contains "username of bad guy" and "has posted a" move it to the specified folder

It's primitive, but effective - I get nothing from him, so I'm not wound up, and I'm not even tempted to reply. I'm pretty sure he's stopped posting, but I can't be bothered to check...

When they don't get the response they want they give up, generally.

I went a few rounds with him last year. Dude is hardcore religious and doesn't accept anything you offer up against his views but it never got to what your describing. Well, other than him calling me a troll and ending the discussion. I just smiled as he played that final card I expected him to play.

That's exactly how I know him as well. I wish him best of luck to find anything he can use in other places, but that should keep him busy a little.

It's a crap post, but I don't see any obvious indication that it's a spam setup.

Probably one to keep an eye on, but I'd hold off on reporting the user for now.
