Look a few threads back. They found him, fed him and took him in. Now you guys have to take care of him, walk him at least three times a day. That will teach you responsibility.

So, I am building Ver II of something I made, with, after enough use, points out how it could be better (and importantly, easier to teach others to use). A generic Reports Generator: input screen.
On change was that I was going to use AJAX to load the main section of the page instead of a location.assign() to the page with the parameter add so it renders with the main section.
Alas, I was using a javaScript calendar control to make those cute little date-picker calendars and the AJAX rendering was just an empty text input field. No calendar. No nothing. Hours of looking for work-arounds (and confirming it was only the AJAX rendered controls), I ended up just redrawing the page. It just wasn't worthwhile to do otherwise.
For those interested, my gaze is mostly towards the floor. It may be a cleaner, nicer, more developer friendly version, automatically extensible without coding (or very little for crazy stuff) - but I still nee to re-invoke the entire page.
I've even considered that if I retrofit the original version I can maintain 100% backward compatibility with the existing without extra coding. Sulk Sulk Sulk.

I had to reinstall windows this week, and during the process of figuring out which button takes you to BIOS, my finger slipped and smashed the keyboard twice, then picked it up and slammed it into the desk. Turns out it was a USB keyboard, which the 'older' mobo ignores until after the OS loads. Talk about laugh.
Anyway, I collected the buttons, because I would hate to lose Ctrl, and I'm rather fond of Esc as well. Now I'm looking for a code snippet that can be 'hard-coded' using the standard buttons on a single keyboard. The [Insert] & [Delete] buttons are low hanging fruit, but possibly lack finesse? Also the space bar didn't make it.
I was thinking of xkcd: Exploits of a Mom[^, specifically: Robert'); DROP TABLE [Students]; --
The core 'DROP TABLE' contains no repeats, and I imagine Randall wouldn't be absolutely crushed if we changed Robert and Students, but we only have one [;] and one [-]. Most other SQL is going to run out of ['] too.
Now I'm working on double entendres using [Insert] [End], and thinking about all of the keyboards I've thrown away :'(

Yeah, sure that's what happened!  Sounds like a bit of rage to me.

You'd be surprised at what can happen during normal use. I was famous during my college days for breaking the keyboard on a VT100[^] terminal when I was at work. The VT100 was built like a truck, which was good since the keyboard was unbelievably stiff. You had to pound the thing.

Hi All,
I'm still new to this large company thing, the 'thing' I am testing is showing a fault, It is displaying different to the XML and I have reported it, got confirmation that it has been logged and I don't have to fix it  it some one else's problem...
