Well as an Australian I can tell you the following;
The pay is not much, I cannot even afford a kangaroo to get me to work, I have to take a public koala. 
But we have had a reduction in the number of snakes, might be because its getting colder here now coming into winter - forecast is for only 27 degrees today - yes Celsius & yes 27 days before scheduled start of winter.
Interestingly, we have flat-earthers down here, they think it is a conspiracy brought about by the globe manufacturers - yes you read that correctly.
None of them have ever said to me that US/UK doesn't exist though
