At home I use a recumbent exercise bicycle with a keyboard table made from a sawn up IKEA bookshelf. Wobbles a bit when I peddle but what else to do whilst I'm waiting for a build to finish?
Currently on secondment on the opposite side of the world at CSIRO which means to say I have to clear Gecko turds from my desk.

I have an stand-up adjustable desk. The desk remembers my standing and sitting heights. I start my day sitting until my lunch. From then, it is time to stand up on a rubber mat to keep my feet safe.

I used to look at people who stood at their desks and wag my head sadly. "Poor souls", I thought. Then my company issued me an adjustable (sit/stand) desk. So, as an experiment I decided to stand for a few hours. My focus factor instantly improved... but so did the pain in my feet. So I got a thick rubber standing mat and tried again. Fast forward a couple years, and I can tell you that I love it now. Except for meetings (where I'm forced to sit!) I choose to stand 80-90% of my working hours (and I work 10-hr days). I feel better, I focus better, I get distracted less. I don't ever want to return to the hunchback slouching of my early days.

I agree with you. I too also have a stand/sit (auto) table. Auto, I mean it remember the height was set at last time and automatically return to that position (Top or bottom). I like stand sometimes, but my problem with stand is that if I stand for couple hours, both my upper legs are numb, feet are okay. So sit couple hours and stand couple hours.

Similar but different: I find that when I really need to focus, I recline on the sofa with my feet up on the coffee table and my laptop in my lap.

I've had the same regular desk for 14 years. It faces the wall with a nice big window to the right. About 5 years ago, I repurposed the glass top from an old coffee table and basically doubled my area, giving me a place to keep a couple of laptops, tablets, and space for the weekly visit/review by my business partner. It's usually pretty cluttered with two matching 27'' monitors in front, and my laptop to the right. The server is on another desk/bookcase at the back of my office. For fun, I have a bass amp (just a 4x10 cabinet) sitting to my left along with a 4 string Fender and a 5 string Gibson.

It is built on the wall inner side, and on legs on the outer. It goes around the wall in the whole room (no cubicles) with half height walls between every two developer... We set wit our face to the wall (I have windows) and with the back to each-other... As I'm in a corner I have more than 2 meters on both sides...

I want 2 semi-circle desk pushed together to create one circle desk. Might need to crawl over desk to get inside, but once in will have maximum desk space with minimal shuffling

Huge as it measures about 160 cm wide, cramped because I have 3 computers, 2 22" monitors, 3 power supply units and several hardware devices which need testing and driver fixes often enough that storing them properly is simply inefficient.
And I expanded on half the shelves behind me for stored stuff.
