My challenge: Name three.
It's a google service, so you can be sure that the names of people who have gone forward into new careers, based on what they have learned on the course, will be amongst the terabytes of personal data slurped from each participant.

Because it's become super-intelligent enough to figure out what is truth and and what is falsehood.
This is one of the dangers I instruct people about, when they start out with a backprop or genetic algorithm: You don't actually know how it's figuring out the things it's figuring out, you just know that it gives results that match the results you've arrived at by other means.
If it works by directing data through routes that human devs would disregard as unreliable, even though it'll work a lot of the time, your training program will still accept the results as being correct, and feed that back to the AI, which will assume that it's doing the right things.
Rule 1 of using a trained AI: Do not trust it until you've fed it A LOT of NEW AND UNIQUE test data, over A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, and always received correct results.

They skew the numbers to appear as if people are moving from Win7 to Win10, but I'm sure a lot of the ex Win7 users are moving to someonthing else, or just abandoning their desktop/laptop machines altogether, because phone/tablet.
I heard a few wweeks ago, that in terms of sheer numbers, *nux has a much higher installed base when all types of devices are counted. For instance, EVERYBODY has a cell phone, and the overwhelming majority of those are running BSD or Android. Additionally, most (all?) of the smart TVs are running Android. Conversely, not everybody has a desktop/laptop computer. Finally, let's not forget about all the two-slice toasters that linux users freqently cite when they're talking about the low low low systems requirements of Linux.
FWIW, the recent Win10 update debacle, coupled with the imminent demise of Win7 forced me to update all of my Windows boxes at home to Linux. So, Win7 hasseven fewer "users" out there - just in my house alone - but none of them went to Win10 as an alternative.
Finally, what about all of the Linux boxes out there that are forced to change their browser user agent to claim membership in the Windows club in order to connect to certain websites? That IS how they get their user metrics after all...

Microsoft in 2016 started working on the "Alternative Interview Framework," a new way of conducting developer interviews to reduce bias and do a better job of testing candidates for the skills they'd actually need on the job. When do we start noticing a change?
Apologies in advance if they shove this behind a paywall. When I added it to the queue, it was working, but the .com version is paywalled. They might do the same to this copy. But I have faith in France to do the right thing.

From the article: Under the new process, Microsoft shares the interview questions in advance so that candidates can prepare ask for CODZ PLZ at CP.
It doesn't mention whether the new process will be animated or tied down (with ribbons), if candidates will be fully screened, if there will be puzzles involving baby blocks, or if candidates with glasses will be forced to remove them, to give them blurred vision.
Y'all ask me, it's just another pile of their "modern" effluent.

Each potential candidate will be given a new icon upon arriving for the interview. Their first clue that they will not be hired is that they will be referred to as a past MS dev framework that was abandoned just after wide acceptance was achieved.
