What do they do? They type Y and don't understand why the procedure doesn't continue  .

So, you add code to check: "You typed 'Y'. Did you mean 'YES'? (Type 'YES' if you did)"
If they still type "Y", ask them to confirm by typing the numbers on the back of their bank card.

Unfortunately this is all done in WinPE (Windows Pre-installation Environment), and even the final install won't have an Internet connection, so there's no good way to get bank card numbers back to home base.
