TBH, I think I'd be happier if they were to take on the mantle of software house, since that's all they are, and start doing that one job right, before "diversifying" into yet more vanity projects.

Agreed - I'm always about their hardware efforts. They seem to give up on most of them far too fast (keyboards and mice not included).

After careful reading I am little confused but hopeful.
Does that mean I can install Preview3 and that when the public release of .NET Core 3 is available everything should start working with it nicely and my preview SDK won't be a problem (Except wasted disk space)?

IANAL (or PM), but that's what it sounds like to me - when you install the gold version, it will overwrite the preview version.
However, they didn't say the magic words, "feature complete" that I could tell, so function signatures and whatnot may still change between now and then.

Ha! The double exclamation is fairly common for coercing things to booleans.
I've occasionally seen the double ~ as a slightly faster Math.floor, usually used when performance isn't actually critical at all.
I've never seen someone use them both at the same time, though. I get what the writer of that code is trying to do, but somehow I doubt that this code is used somewhere that ~~ really makes a difference over the easier to read Math.floor.
For anyone wondering what this JS does, it is basically a lazy man's version of this:
if (Math.floor(data.Custom[record.ID].Value) > 0) {
field.setValue(true);
} else {
field.setValue(false);
}
In both cases, you'll end up with false if data.Custom[record.ID].Value is a string or object, because Math.floor("LOL") and Math.floor({}) both return NaN, and NaN > 0 evaluates to false.
