No. He went to any length to avoid anything that resembled exercise, ate far too much (and the wrong stuff) and was extremely overweight and already had serious health problems. When most people at work got sick with a cold, it developed into a full case of pneumonia for him. After a week someone at work wanted to look after him, went to his home and did not open the door. The police was called, they opened the door and found him dead.

Not much traffic on the way to work today. Even the eggheads crawling to the research center managed only small groups or loose formations. The only obstacle: A taxi on the way to the airport, hogging the leftmost lane and going even slower than the eggheads. A good Englishman, obviously, only that we are not in England.
The speed limit was lifted after the eggheads had successfully crawled off the road, but the taxi kept rolling along, still on the leftmost lane. Not that there were many cars left on the other two lanes to overtake. One, to be precise. A 911 on the middle lane, desperatly trying to resist the urge to illegally pass that slowpoke on the right side.
So I let him in and he was instantly able to convince the taxi to go on with sleeping a little further to the right. And afterwards I had the pleasure to see a Porsche take off and chased behind him as good as I could. A few miles down the road he took the same exit as I and he did not get out of sight. Looks like my car also was happy to run a little.

Crawling along on the leftmost lane? There are not many countries in the world where that would be the correct thing to do. Here the rightmost lane would be the place to do that.
Most likely the taxi driver was one of the imprted camel herders, but his inability to leave the left lane made him look like he was imported from England.

Maybe, but can't he do that on a slower lane? Here, the leftmost lane is the fastest and intended for overtaking, not that there were many cars on the other lanes to overtake. And when the speed limit is lifted here, it's really lifted. No more speed limit at all, only a recommended speed. For whatever reason, that taxi driver simply was trying his best to be a jerk.
