I am not always agree with the EU politicians, but I do find that they are doing good standing up against the huge internet companies (not always for the right reasons but better than nothing). It is time that they get slowed down

But the article was written by a woman, who should be forced to "go back" to her great-grandfather's country, where crime is rampant, and school massacres happen every five minutes.
Seriously, though, the number of female gamers is so low (comparatively), that I was surprised that the writer was a girl/woman/whatever-she-wants-to-be-called.
That's the only reason I haven't bitched about the glaring errors in the text of the article.

You forgot the part about it only being a "Hello world" app!

If they do go that route, the only way this would work is if it somehow compares what you have installed with what's in the EXE and deletes the extra baggage from the EXE. If you don't have the components installed, it takes it from the EXE and builds only what you've already received from the EXE into the .NET Library. Afterwards, every EXE with new DLLs get added to the library.
Too tiresome.

The bug is hitting all supported versions of Windows 10 and the scannow command displays a generic error message, and the culprit appears to be the latest version of Windows Defender. You didn't need to check for valid copies of system files anyway, did you?
