There are 15 such 30-day periods in the next 30 years. Assuming the hardware were ready today, that would mean launching of more than 2,200 people every day. This is about 10 times more than all the astronauts/cosmonauts/X-nauts launched in the last 60 years.

It's why he's building starship so huge. The intent is to put 100 people on each, so 100k people is 1000 crewed starship launches. They'll need somewhere between 5 and 10 tanker launches each to refuel in orbit prior to departure (this number's heavily dependent on exactly what Starship ends up weighing).
His dreams may very well exceed his grasp; but the numbers check out for the model he's designing.

Assuming that the hardware is ready within 10 years, that means 100,000 people each 30-day period, and 1000 starship launches. These require 5,000-10,000 tanker launches over a period of 25 months (7-13 launches/day). All this to be built within the next 10 years?!
Even if his figures are accurate, no organization has come within orders of magnitude of that many launches per day.

If he puts a quarter million couples on Mars (so 2 x 250,000) by 2049, he can have his million nine months later

Why bother with couples?
Assuming:
- Women use artificial insemination (no need for men
 ) - Women arrive every 26 months (after Earth-Mars closest approach)
- Each woman starts having children as soon as she arrives, and has one child every 26 months
Those that arrive in 2031 would have 10 children by 2050
Those that arrive in 2033 would have 9 children by 2050
…
Those that arrive in 2049 would have 1 child by 2050
For each 10 women arriving (one per cohort), we have 55 children, i.e. 550% growth. We therefore need to send only 160,000 fertile women (and 1 sperm bank) to Mars.

It is therefore good news that Microsoft is set to fix a flaw in the browser which could result in Remote Code Execution if some-one visits a specially crafted website using the software. It's just like the old days
