That usually only happens when people vote it as spam. I just tried editing it and I can see the original text, but when I try updating, it says "This message is unavailable - it may have been deleted". Most odd.

I got the same thing when I tried.
I assume that it's a gremlin in the system - that was nowhere near spam or abuse. Except possibly to the Militant Wing of Vegans Anonymous.

It was probably eaten for the same reason that Ashkenazi Jews eat Gefilte fish:
- It was cheap
- It was nutritious
