Can you do me a favour and try this:

Hit https://codeproject.freetls.fastly.net/script/Forums/images/pin.png[^]

and https://codeproject.freetls.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/pin.png[^]

I assume the second one doesn't show.

Can you try clearing your cache and then trying again?

They're both low-viz (no color only outline of object).

When I logged in this morning, the word PIN was appearing. Then 20 minutes later the proper function was back. So perhaps you're right about the cache or ... I thought ... "maybe there are two servers and my first login occured before a second server synched in and took over the task of dishing out pages (one has image the other Image)".

But anyway, if it keeps coming back and is this silly intermittant stuff it's barely annoying so I'll just get jiggie with it. Whatevs.

Great, so you can hit both of them. The coloured version is

We have a theory that you may have hit a 404 (not found) page during a server outage a week or so ago, and our 404 page was sending 301 (permanent redirect) to our error page instead of 302 (temp redirect). So your browser is convinced the image isn't there.

The whole case-sensitivity thing is odd though. URLs on CodeProject shouldn't be case senstive.

... when reporting abusers/trolls/spammers? Someone who posts spam on the site is surely abusing the site, so why do we flag them as spam rather than abusive? Are the different classifications actually used for any purpose? Would it not be simpler to have just one flag to click rather than hover - slide - click?

Yeah ... CTRL+TAB, move+click, ... repeat ... it could be quicker, but then we'd get a lot more "false reports" I suspect.

I just open all with the wheel (new tab on normal links), then mouse over the flag, report with mouse on right hand, CTRL+F4 in left hand, your mouse is only a couple of centimeters far from the next flag.

It is way more effective than going up and down and closing tabs with the mouse
