The other potential issue you could run into is with Secure Boot (or WTElephant | [mastadon] MS currently calls its encrypted boot loader requirement for the licenses they sell to Dell, etc). But AFAIK that's only an issue with some more ideologically pure distros; with more commercial ones like Debian and Redhat having gotten the needed signing certs from MS to work even if your BIOS won't let you disable the feature.
