rentacoder sucks!
we tried to get someone to do a small job for us and both coders we found failed to deliver even after they both said they could absolutely do it and had done it gigazillions of times before

I had a look and the rough guides to the prices looked way off the mark. Do these people actually expect quality work for the money they are offering.
At this point I like to quote my paternal grandmother: Buy cheap buy dear.

If the buyer is in Iran, don't US export restrictions prevent you from trading?
Just curious.

Hello all,
I have written an ASP.NET guestbook custom control that will be the subject of a future article. If you have a moment, please poke it and prod it, and if you manage to break it, please let me know how.
Thanks!
[edit - March 19, 2004]
Thank you, everyone, for helping me test it out. I have a few more kinks to iron out, and then I will write up an article about it.

I have a series of project wizards that get distributed as part of the VCF. However I would like to also offer project wizards for VC7 or VC7.1, but I don't have a copy of VC7. Could anyone here with VC7 or VC7.1 port the wizards over to VC7/7.1? I'd be eternally grateful! The code is relatively straight forward. Don't hesitate to email me at ddiego at users dot sourceforge dot net if you can do this.

I have built another app that does some of what yours does, but is geared towards publishing the photosets on the web. It makes thumbnails, adds the photosets to a database on the server then automatically FTPs the images to the server. The server runs some Cold FUsion code that pulls the images and displays them accoriding to the templates the user also builds with the tool.
If the 2 were integrated, it could be a pretty cool product!
