Hi,

It goes ahead what you required. If you want to implement some service (Not just service - it is a biproduct of 5 things such as Transaction Management(Enterprise Service),MSMQ(Microsoft Message Queue),Web Service,.Net Remoting,WS-*)then you should go for wcf service.

If you want to implement some process flow,then you need to implement workflows.

Since you know c#, both should be easy for you to learn.

you can refer - Learning WCF by Oreilly

For Workflow - you can refer MS press book.
