How to keep old data Code first approach in MVC4

Hi ,

I am using EF5 and MVC4 for my project using code first approach. But when i am adding any new property to my model so its dropping the old db and creating new one so i am loosing all my old data. So can any one help me i will keep my old data in when model changed.
