Hello ;
I wanted to Launch the notepad Application on Loading the URL of my WebPage .I have done it Using Active X in IE .But for chrome i cant do. What are the different ways by which i can does this task in chrome..I have also used Java applets but it uses NPAPI which chrome does not support.Please help me anyBody on this forum

Here is how it looks: IE allowed you to do nasty things, because this is the major problem if IE, widely criticized, and when a decent browser, Chrome, doesn't allow it, you are unhappy.
Don't abuse things, and you will get less problems.

Just think about it: "Notepad" is something which may or may not exist.

You cannot do it because Google Chrome is a real Web browser designed in attempt to adhere to the present-day standards. No browser should access host system the way you want. Or, I would rather say, you have illusion that you want it. You don't really want to do such abuse, you never really need it. You never need to start Notepad or any other application. Such thing does not even exist, in general case.
