I have been developing programs on VB6 more then 10 year, similarly I have gone through some older version of VS .Net just for knowledge, seriously I have not developed any program on them. Now I have been developing on VS.Net 2013 since 6 month. First of all I have installed VS 013 on my desktop with OS Win 7 SP1 and on my laptop with OS win 7 it was fine. I sold my laptop and purchase new one with OS win 8.1, I install VS.Net on it, till then no problem. I was uncomfortable with OS Win 8.1 switch it to Win 7 SP1 and install VS successfully, but while executing VS message popup says “MS VS 2013 stopped working” and on response to Debug exit form it. I went through many blogs but my problem does not solve. On my laptop, it is installed with ms sql server 2008 r2, vb6, cr8 some other common software, similarly software were running on my desktop but there is no problem it works fine. As I have demonstrate development to my client through this laptop. Humbly request to find solution for this problem.
