Dear All,

Kindly guide as I'm try to make a crystal report.

As I'm using VB2008 & Sql Server is with that.

Actually first I create a dataset & than combine this data set with Crystal report.

Now probelm occer when I run the report it shows only head name & not showning the data.

If I try to Process instead of SQL file, I user some old database to generate report it become OK and report showing all data of old database.

Kindly guide how I findout the reason of none supporting to SQL Data.

Whereas SQL is not creating any problem when I try to inseart, delete or modify the data through Forms.

Regards,

Jatinder Gupta.

Your question is not quite clear. You tried to create a crystal report with a dataset - didn't work...but report with 'database'-worked?

Put some code part what/how you made dataset. Also look at the dataset formed if it contains the data expected before binding the same to the crystal report.

Make sure you have provided a table stucture in crystal report where columns are defined. You might be missing a mapping in the detail row of table in crystal report.

Go step by step. First make sure dataset is fine then move to crystal report. Your first step should be to troubleshoot the reason then try to resolve it.

For just to see the problem occer at where I used the other databases to see output. With that I find that the problem occers with Sql datasets. Pl guide for the next. Regards,
