click event on calender control

My requirement is that as I click on Calender control I should get the message saying that first select the city ....that means m not supposed to make any operation with Calender unless I select city from droodiwn list...hence msg should b displayed as I try to click on Calender control

Solution 1

Consider either hiding the Calendar Control until the user has made a valid choice from the city DropDownList, or disabling the Calendar Control.

However, if this some kind of "booking" site, you might want to consider the possible benefits of allowing users to select dates first.
