Automatically detect port details

How to automatically detect port details and connect it to a C# application? In all examples I found on the internet, they are setting port details manually.

I want to detect and connect to the device automatically, like; we connect dongles to out PCs , but never set port details manually and can receive SMS also.

Please help.
