What is asp.net 5. Does it include web forms and what is the difference between ASP.NET 5 and ASP.NET MVC 5. Can beginners directly start with ASP.NET 5? If not which topics should be covered first, before beginning with ASP.NET 5?

You can start with ASP 5, but it is still work in progress
If you didn't program before, keep to standard versions.
ASP 5 is new paradigm, very modular, about as different from old as was change from ASP to ASP.NET

I advise you take some courses from microsoft virtual academy and do all their examples until you understand each.
