Is it possible to map a virtual directory to a physical directory that is located on a remote computer using credentials?

Why don't you just try it? I've seen virtual dirs. mapped to linked directories, but you never know til you try.

I agree with F-ES. Try it. However, due to network latency I think it is a terrible idea.
