Pull facebook ads through graph api

Hello,

Previously I was able to pull facebook ads using the facebook query language and I used to select the the news feeds and it became obsolete.
Now I am trying to pull the facebook Ads though the Graph API since the read_stream was deprecated as well and the new alternative is user_posts.
Is there a way to pull facebook Ads like before as we used to do with FQL ?

What I have tried:

as I mentioned before I have tried the FQL query and it worked fine.
