Regarding Reading Pixel Data of DICOM image

I am developing a DICOM Viewer. But after reading the DICOM file some of the files are working fine which have Pixel data in array. But I am not able to display the files having pixel data in DICOM Sequence. Can you please explain the functionality of DICOM Sequence and how can i get pixel data from a DICOM sequence.
