Upgrading plugins in nopcommerce

Hello!
Please I need help in nopcommerce on how a plugin is upgraded.
I want to update some plugin to be compatible with nopcommerce 3.8.i have the source code of the plugin.
Urgent help needed on this. Step by step instructions on how it's done will help.
