I have a problem related to GIS application. I have 10 parcels would like when I click on one of them to show me all parcels that are contiguous to that parcel?

Hi,

Assuming you are using a vector data....
Make a buffer of the clicked parcel with minimal distance to overlap with neighbors (usually 1 unit) and look for intersection with other parcels.

What kind of parcels are you working with? If they are uniform in shape/size, you should be able to do some simple calculations in whatever library/framework you're using to support the GIS functions (even in SQL server).

I'm assuming you don't have the relationships stored somewhere, so you'll likely have to 'walk' the perimeter and look for uniques.
