Get list items from sharepoint 365

Hi ,

We newly moved sharepoint version 2010 to sharepoint 365 . When i try to get the list items from sharepoint 365 using services, its throws an error as access denied.

when i google it , it says sharepoint online service will not support client object model .

can anyone give me an idea about fetching sharepoint (365) list items value using C#

What I have tried:

I created the services using _vti_bin/lists.asmx , and tried to connect the list using the ID of the URL . it throws me an access denied error
