Finding Out Status of a USB Device ,like pendrive

hi friend ,I am working on a project(in window application of c#) in which I need to find out the status of a usb device.
means what after inserting usb device like a pen drive ,
how much power it is consuming.
And I am not using any Third party API.
can anybody please help me.
it is very urgent

You have tagged the question ASP.NET so I am considering you are talking about a web application.

I don't think it would be possible because a web application shouldn't be allowed to access devices on a client machine. That would be a security threat to the client machine.
