"how to run our own application login program instead of windows-xp login program"
Posted

If you're meaning to have your app run immediately after the computer boots this is pretty simple and doesn't require much hacking.

Find a guide to make the computer a "kiosk" and have your app run on boot.

If you're meaning to replace the Windows login with your own, I don't recall what is available in XP. If you have the ability to work with Win7/Vista instead you could write your own credential provider.

Cheers.

For Windows XP or prior, search for "replace windows gina" and you should find plenty of resources to get you started. As TheyCallMeMrJames says in his answer, for Vista and later, you'd need to create your own credential provider.

You can do it in Windows Xp using Group Ploicy Settings.
