How to space characters(letter spacing) evenly inside a dynamic div?

I am generating divs dynamically. Based on a condition, I need to space the characters entered to the div evenly so that ift fits the width of div. How can I do this ?

What I have tried:

Tried line-spacing in CSS. But not getting correct result.
