How to use progress bar in windows in C#

hii ,i created a login page when i click on login button it takes 2 seconds to load master page so i want to show progress bar ,,simple i want to show user that u have to wait while plz help me and same case in grid view i am exporting grdiview data from excel that takes 2 0r 3 seconds so i want display a message to end user.. in C#

What I have tried:
