How do make the cell padding for a table in HTML separate for the left side vs the other 3 sides?

I'm displaying books in the first column of a table, and the titles corresponding to the titles in the column to the right of it. I need to bring the left-aligned titles in the right column closer to the books' column (to the center).

What I have tried:

Modifying the cell frame, padding, and cell spacing
