This is not a trivial thing to do: it takes planning and a lot of care - particularly if you are talking about the remote DB being cloud based, where multiuser access is the norm.

Basically, you have a lot of reading to do! Start here: Sync data (Preview) | Microsoft Docs[^] - but do not expect this to be a trivial operation.
